Managing Workspaces
Once your workspaces are set up, you can rename them, delete them, or configure roles for shared access.
Renaming a workspace
- Right-click the workspace in the sidebar (or click the kebab menu).
- Select Rename.
- Enter the new name and press Enter.
The rename takes effect immediately across the app — the sidebar, workspace switcher, and any page headers referencing the workspace name are updated.
Deleting a workspace
- Right-click the workspace in the sidebar.
- Select Delete Workspace.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Deleting a workspace permanently removes all pages, project keys, and secrets stored inside it. This action cannot be undone. Make sure you have moved any content you want to keep to another workspace before deleting.
The confirmation dialog lists the number of pages and keys that will be deleted, so you can review the impact before confirming.
Workspace roles
When you share pages with peers via P2P sync, workspace roles control what connected peers can do:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control — create, edit, delete pages and keys. Manage roles. |
| Editor | Create and edit pages. Cannot delete the workspace or manage roles. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to shared pages. Cannot create or edit content. |
Roles are assigned per-peer when you set up a shared connection. To change a peer’s role:
- Open the Sync panel.
- Find the peer under Connected Peers.
- Click the role badge and select a new role from the dropdown.
Roles only apply to shared pages. Your local pages and keys are always fully under your control regardless of workspace roles.
